Porsche Parade 2008

Porsche Parade: an assembly of the partners of the Porsches Club of Europe and a parade of beautiful Porsche, of epoch and recent, that every two years find again him for some days in particularly suggestive places. In 2006 it touched to Sweden; this year the tenth edition is developed in Italy, in the magic earth of Sardinia, among Coast Smeralda and Gallura.
The assembly, organized by the Italian Federation Porsche Club, you/he/she has had beginning the last 8 May 2008 to I Bring Buck, with the participants' recording, cocktail, briefing and supper in Piazzetta: they were present 235 crews, of which 115 Italian, 54 German, 10 English, 8 Bulgarian, and then Scandinavian, Swiss, Czech and straight Icelanders... The car more dated, and perhaps for this among the most fascinating of the group, it was a 1955 356 black Speedster, with Italian (abruzzese, for the precision) crew, and they were present almost all the models produced by Porsche, from the 356 to the Cayennes, from the Cayman to the numerous variations of 911, understood the recent GT2 by 530 CVs. To the supper you/they have also participated two illustrious names in the history of the German mark: Ferdinad Piech Jr and Hans-Peter Porsche.
The real visit of the island has had beginning Friday 9, with the photographic rally "sea and earth": an auto run among Coast Smeralda and Gallura and an excursion in boat in the famous Archipelago of the Maddalena. The road layout evoked the deeds of the busy pilots in the historical rally of Sardinia, but in reality you/he/she has prevailed the tourist-convivial aspect with the cars primarily prepared in line; the run has given the possibility however - above all to the holders of Porsche "discoveries" - to appreciate the landscape of this zone of Sardinia, with once atmospheric almost summer...In the afternoon, you leave the cars parked under the careful look and incuriosito of the passers-by, the partners of the clubs Porsche is embarked for admiring the islands of the archipelago of the Maddalena.
The forenoon of Saturday, instead, the Contest of elegance has been devoted to in the Marina Vecchia of I Bring Buck. The winners of the contest, later... difficulty select, the end they have been to six, with the creation of as many different categories: 356/B n.41s, 959 n.11s, 993/2 n.183s, Cayman S n.7, GT3 RS n.61, 996 Turbo n.21s. Some cars have been hocked besides in a nice competition of ability.
Beginning from the first afternoon, therefore the real one is developed "Porsche Parade", from the Marina Vecchia to the Yacht Club Coast Smeralda, in one "gangway" long around three kilometers, among the enthusiasm of the spectators. The evening is concluded with the usual supper of frill, "Porsche Night", near the hotel it Lowers of Fox, characterized by shows and... good food.
